چکیده

Phosphorus is the main macronutrient required by plants for growth and development. in soil bonds with metals such as Al Ca, especially acid soils ultisols. This form of phosphate must be mineralized or dissolved using solubilizing bacteria. The ability to dissolve also correlates production Indole Acetic Acid (IAA), which can increase plant growth. study aims assess dissolution IAA three bacteria (EF.NAP 5, EF.NAP 7, 10) have been isolated from soils, Lampung. method used was clear zone test bacterial isolates, solubility, measurement during solubility process. 5 10 isolates had indexes 0.986 (6th day), 0.828 (7th day) 0.789 (3rd respectively. 7 isolate (392.87 mg/L) able better than (311 (213.37 mg/L). pH conditions on highest were (4.94), (4.19) (6.01), produce dissolving process Liquid Pikovskaya medium without addition Tryptophan concentrations (12.5 mg/L), (8.0 (8.5

Application of Potential Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria and Organic Acids on Phosphate Solubilization from Phosphate Rock in Aerobic Rice

A study was conducted at Universiti Putra Malaysia to determine the effect of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) and organic acids (oxalic & malic) on phosphate (P) solubilization from phosphate rock (PR) and growth of aerobic rice. Four rates of each organic acid (0, 10, 20, and 30 mM), and PSB strain (Bacillus sp.) were applied to aerobic rice. Total bacterial populations, amount of P solu...

Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria-assisted phytoremediation of metalliferous soils: a review

Heavy metal pollution of soils is of great concern. The presence of the toxic metal species above critical concentration not only harmfully affects human health but also the environment. Among existing strategies to remediate metal contaminates in soils, phytoremediation approach using metal accumulating plants is much convincing in terms of metal removal efficiency, but it has many limitations...

Phosphate solubilization by endophytic bacteria isolated from banana trees.

Forty isolates of endophytic bacteria isolated from banana tree roots were assessed as to their capacity to solubilize phosphate in a solid culture medium supplemented with different inorganic and one organic source of phosphorus. The amount of phosphorus (P) in each liquid medium was quantified, and an indirect assessment of acid phosphatase activity was performed. All assays had a fully rando...

Nitrogen Fixation and Indole Acetic Acid Production Potential of Bacteria Isolated from Rhizosphere of Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.)

Twelve bacterial strains were isolated from root and rhizosphere samples collected from different sugarcane growing areas. Of these strains, ten strains were identified as Pseudomonas and two as Azotobacter on the basis of colonyand cell-morphology. Among isolates the presence of nifH gene was detected only in two Azotobacter strains (Azoto1 and Azoto2). Acetylene reduction activity of the stra...

Isolation and characterization of phosphate solubilizing bacteria from Western Indian Himalayan soils

Previous studies confirmed the existence of diversified microbial flora in the rhizosphere of Himalayan Red Kidney Bean (RKB) (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Therefore, fifteen different temperate and subtropical regions of Western Indian Himalaya (WIH) were explored for the isolation of RKB rhizosphere-associated Phosphorus (P) solubilizing bacteria. On the basis of qPCR analysis, three soils, i.e., ...
